Celebrate Find Waldo in Durham on July 31

Celebrate a fantastic month of Waldo hunting and local shopping with the Regulator Bookshop, Sustain-a-Bull, and HappyMess Art Studio on Wednesday, July 31st!

The festivities will include a costume contest, Waldo mask making with HappyMess Art Studio, the unveiling of a community mural where you can take a picture of yourself being Waldo in Durham, and prize drawings for people who found Waldo in 20 or more places during the month-long search. Join us from 6:30 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 31 at The Regulator Bookshop, located at 720 Ninth Street in Durham. Light refreshments will be provided and the fabulous Peter Holsapple will be on hand to lead the fun!

Prizes Include:

  • Gift Certificates to local businesses like Elmo’s Diner, The Regulator Bookshop, Cocoa Cinnamon, One World Market, Locopops, the Durham Arts Council, The Scrap Exchange, Morgan Imports, Park Veterinary Hospital, and Durham Garden Center. 
  • A $100 Visa Gift Card courtesy of the Durham News division of the News & Observer.
  • A t-shirt from Don Hill’s Lock & Safe.
  • A Mahalo ukelele from High Strung
