Want to join Sustain-a-Bull? If you own or represent a locally owned, independent business based in Durham, you’re eligible*! Being a part of Sustain-a-Bull means connecting with other local independent businesses and business owners, being included in Sustain-a-Bull events and promotions, having access to Sustain-a-Bull customer education materials, and more.
The benefits of becoming a member of Sustain-a-Bull include:
–Sustain-a-Bull signs and window decals that will let everyone know you are proud to be a locally owned, independent Durham business.
–A listing on the Sustain-a-Bull web site, where you can advertise your business and link to your own site.
–Participation in two special Shop Independent Durham Weeks every year, (one during the first week of July, and one the first week of December), when members can offer special sales and events, which Sustain-a-Bull will help promote, while emphasizing the value and importance of supporting independent local businesses.
–The ability to sell Sustain-a-Bull t-shirts and bumper stickers, and the use of the Sustain-a-Bull logo in anything that promotes your business.
–Educational literature for your customers highlighting the importance of shopping locally.
Annual dues for business membership are $100 for the 2012 calendar year, or part thereof. If your business is interested in being a part of the only organization in Durham that promotes and speaks for independent businesses, please download and fill out the Business Registration Form below.

*Details of eligibility: To qualify as a Sustain-a-Bull member business, your business must be owned solely by an individual or individuals that live in the Durham area, have five or fewer locations, and the business must be headquartered within Durham city limits.
